Valerie Ling is the Clinical Director and founder of the Centre for Effective Living, a group psychology practise dedicated to clinical excellence in mental health and Centre for Effective Serving a training and consulting arm dedicated to workplace wellbeing and burnout prevention. Valerie is a Clinical Psychologist, speaker, published author and Clinical Supervisor with a passion for helping people find their voices and continue to write their life’s story.  She has a special interest in the prevention and treatment of burnout. Her career began as a consultant in the corporate world, working internationally in talent assessment and development. As such she is able to engage with those facing career transition or work related stress. At an organisational level Valerie is involved in consulting to optimise resiliency and mental health wellbeing. Valerie has worked with agencies to create and implement wellness programmes that target systemic burnout. She is a sought after speaker presenting industry-specific and up to date research and strategies in burnout prevention.
